At Diagnosis Biotech, we developed Phone Screen Testing (PoST) a new method that can identify traces of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in samples taken from the screen of smartphones.
Our Studies carried out in collaboration with clinics and universities in Santiago (Chile) and London (UK) show that PoST can identify on average over 91% of people with a high viral load, those with the highest probability of spreading the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The results of our study were published in the prestigious scientific journal eLife (Smartphone Screen Testing, a novel pre-diagnostic method to identify SARS-CoV-2 infectious individuals, 2021). News of the publication were highlighted in more than 150 press releases worldwide (press).
